 Provide psychological assessment, formulation and treatment to the adults experiencing mental health difficulties from a diverse range of backgrounds (e.g. public, Australian army members, workers compensation files etc.). Apply a person-centered approach to individual therapy using a wide range of treatment modalities of CBT, DBT, ACT, Mindfulness and psycho-education. Write formal assessment reports and liaise with treatment professionals involved in the duty of care of clients utilizing our service. Attend fortnightly supervision to discuss client presentations and continue to develop professional clinical skills.

I worked as a psychologist providing holistic care approach to vulnerable mothers and families to provide evidence based mental health interventions. This was a pioneer program to providing mental health care for mothers with mental health issues and wider psychosocial issues. All services provided came through a Multi Disciplinary Team (MDT) approach. My role centred mainly in providing group therapy programs weekly (DBT, CBT, ACT, Psychoeducation etc.) and individual therapy as part of a holistic care plan to an average of 20 clients intensively for an average of 12 weeks.
