Assessment of Bacterial Source Tracking using rep-PCR and Classification Methods for the Identification of Fecal Contamination: This research investigates the utility of rep-PCR and statistical procedures to discriminate between strains of Escherichia coli stemming from various sources. The database generated from this research will be used to identify point and non-point sources of fecal contamination.Soil Clogging Genesis and Flow and Transport Process Dynamics in Wastewater Soil Absorption Systems: Conducted water quality analysis of percolate throughout start-up and shut-down of 1-D columns. These analyses include: pH, Alkalinity, COD, BOD, Total Nitrogen, Total Phosphorus, and Fecal Coliforms. Investigated break through using a bromide tracer test.Community Dynamics of Methanotrophs: Conducted analyses in the up-take of oxygen, methane, and TCE of different consortia of methanotrophs from environments of various concentrations of TCE.
