The Operation Supervisor ensure daily operations activities are executed in a safe and efficient manner in compliance with legislative requirements, Company standards, HSE Policy and procedures including HSE Plans, HSE Case, MOPO, PTW and emergency response system, zero unapproved overrides etc. He is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of all activities in the field.• Ensure the Flow station & Gas Plant process system is operated within Technical integrity limits, operating envelopes and operating integrity standards.• Ensure production volumes are adequately metered, quality laboratory data from wells & pump line samples are accurately recorded & reported to Hydrocarbon Accounting & Programming team• Perform emergency response responsibilities in real situations and drills in accordance with policy, verify that competence of staff with key roles is attained and maintained.• Ensure control of identified hazards of concurrent operations have adequate controls. Routine equipment and safety systems testing are scheduled to minimize production loss• Ensured safe production of hydrocarbons (oil, condensate & gas) in accordance with set production targets and the Gas Sales Agreement (GSA).• Operate oil and gas wells and associated facilities. Ensure wells optimisation, routine production well testing and sampling.• Participate in monthly PD Meter Proving, servicing of well test rotor meters and gas supply to Barton meters• Troubleshoot and provide input for solving Flow station and Gas Plant process system malfunctions and upsets.• Monitor, review, analyze plant/equipment performance and identify opportunities to maximize production/performance and share best practices.• Make production facilities safe for maintenance activities and ensure maintenance shutdown activity planning and execution including statutory equipment inspections e.g. Vessel inspections, relief valve replacement, lifting equipment/gantry inspections, ESD testing etc.

Asset management system as part of operational excellence enables producing assets to set a strong foundation for top – quartile performance by improving performance in personal and process safety, availability, utilization and cost competitiveness. The system includes ensuring safe production, managing threats and opportunity, performing turnaround, performing maintenance execution and integrating activity planning and scheduling.• Successfully deployed and implemented the Shell group management system (Asset Management System) across shell companies in Nigeria. • Supervising ongoing development and implementation of asset management principles and practices in Shell. • Developing, recommending and implementing Asset Management policy and strategy. • Overseeing the means and methods for collecting, analysing, and reporting on data used to support complex risk-based decision making using accepted asset management principles and practices.• Coordinating work of staff’ in documenting business processes and adoption and use of continuous improvement processes. In charge of management, planning, budget control, staffing and work standards for the Asset Management section.

Nigeria

Operating Integrity (OI) is a key requirement for the operation of the integrated production system, from well to point of transfer as applicable. Operating Integrity is achieved when the asset is being operated as intended, such that it can achieve production targets without attracting undue risks to personnel, environment, asset value or reputation. This is one of the fundamental pillars of the Asset Integrity Process Safety Management Standard.• Successfully deployed and implemented Operating Integrity process in SPDC Kolo Creek Production Unit (2013) and Cawthorne channel Production units (2014).• Demonstrated strong HSE culture and Practice by ensuring Asset Monthly HSE meeting were held and involved in organizing safety workshop (Safety days).• Supported the Goal Zero drive (No Leaks, No Harm to People) for the Central East Asset and reporting HIR. • Performed safety ranger during major shutdowns to ensure incident/accidents are prevented.• Performed Cumulative Risk Assessment (CRA) for Assets to manage risk profile with adequate mitigation and controls.• Ensured that the identified hazards during operation activities were controlled through permit to work (PTW) effectiveness and dynamic hazard analysis.• Participated in the deployment of electronic permit to work system (Permit Vision).• Coordinated Permit to work effectiveness audits (LoD 1 &LoD 2) across production assets.• Managed production operation competencies to ensure personnel with safety critical roles were adequately resourced to enhance frontline barrier management.• Ensured execution of production activities utilizing the available management system (override & operational registers) to ensure all safeguards are in place and all external risks have been considered prior to authorization of activities to commence. • Coordinated process safety culture change from reactive to calculative and sustainability thereby reducing tier 1 and tier 2 process safety incidents across SPDC assets.

• Executed the production and routine first line maintenance activities in oil/gas field and ensured that production targets were met, and that wells, facilities maintenance and integrity requirements were satisfied.• Safely operated oil and gas wells and associated facilities. • Ensured wells optimization, routine production well testing and sampling.• Troubleshoot and provided input for solving Flow station and Gas Plant process system malfunctions and upsets.• Monitored, reviewed, analyzed plant/equipment performance and identified opportunities to maximize production/performance and shared best practices. • Made production facilities safe for maintenance activities and ensured maintenance shutdown activity planning and execution including statutory equipment inspections e.g. Vessel inspections, relief valve replacement, lifting equipment/gantry inspections, ESD testing etc. were executed safely and all reports documented including follow up actions.• Participated in the deployment of relentless production improvement initiative using lean methodology to ensure plant availability and reliability thereby ensuring that production targets are met.
