Who listens to their Dad? Right? Count me as a non-listener, and I'm a Dad too.Many, many years ago, my father told me I had the personality for sales, outgoing, personable but sales?? I was insulted. However, many years ago, I got my first sales job, and what can I say? Dad was right. I love it and always will. Now I don't want to make it seem like I'm piling on my parents. I have very loving parents, whom I still have lunch with once a week. I wasn't raised on TV, but I did watch a lot of TV growing up. All three channels! (if I haven't hit home with the many, many years ago, maybe that line will give you some context) I wasn't really watching the shows, though. I was watching the commercials, and that's what sparked my love for marketing! In my opinion, there is no more fun industry to use my sales and marketing experience in than precious metals reclaim. It may not be as flashy as some other industries, but we're talking about Gold, Platinum, Palladium, Silver, and Rhodium! Yup, GOLD! My favorite part about precious metal reclaim is the importance of trust and integrity. My grandfather had a great line "Integrity is like virginity. Once you lose it, it's gone." So if you want to work with a precious metal refiner that has held transparency and integrity in the highest regard since 1919, give me a call. Yes, 1919. Now that was many, many, many years ago!
