Support Conductive Elastomers PlatformProvide design support directly to customers, including major OEM’s such as Nokia, Ericsson, Motorola and Siemens and the United States Military to develop solutions for Electro-mechanical and radio interference problemsUtilize software including SDRC IDEAS, Cadkey and FillCalc V to develop and finalize design concepts utilizing solid modeling, FEA and mold flow analysis .Work within compressed schedules to provide production quality parts utilizing rapid prototyping techniques. Manage programs, including suppliers and schedules from preliminary design concept through prototyping and into production. Responsible for design of Injection and transfer over-molding, compression molding, inspection fixtures, steel rule die and all other associated tooling and documentation.

Support Central Engineering DepartmentProvide design support on diversified product lines for military and aerospace markets. Products include molded, over-molded, injection molded, extruded, knitted wire mesh, die cut, thermal management, machined and multi component products.Design molds, fixtures and specialized tooling for use in a production environmentIntegral to the development and Implementation of engineering standards resulting in the publication of Central Engineering manual consisting of design standards for tooling and product. This manual was instrumental in achieving ISO 9000 certification Interacted with Application Engineering, Inside and outside Sales Engineers, Customers and Suppliers to provide increased product quality while decreasing lead times

Responsible for designing blow-molded products for the pharmaceutical, food and cosmetic industries. Responsible for mechanical and industrial design.Work directly with Quality Assurance in the qualification of new designs by the FDA.Assist the Engineering manager in day to day activities including supplier management and customer design reviews.
