CurrentI am a Technical Director within the Resources and Manufacturing team in Aurecon. My key technical experience includes the project management, design, construction, commissioning and project delivery of bulk materials handling facilities, including mobile machine and shiploader design.My current roles is Technical Director, within which I lead the overall design of complex machines projects.I have also held these dual roles; - Capability Leader - Bulk Material Handling and Ports (responsible for driving collaboration, leveraging capabilities and improving work sharing practices across offices globally) - Client Engagement Team Leader for Rio Tinto Aluminium; - Mechanical Discipline Lead (responsible for recruitment, talent development and leadership of a group of about 20) - People Champion (responsible for staff engagement and team culture for a group of about 100)I am also experienced in other complex special purpose machines and structures, including airport passenger boarding bridges and floating ferry pontoons.I have developed a deep understanding of bulk material supply chains, and have been involved in simulation and optimisation of facilities using a range of methods from high level static simulation through to detailed dynamic simulation.My site experience includes technical engineering support during construction and commissioning, superintendents' representative roles, and commissioning planning and management.
