John Arthur is the founder of Wireless EDGE and has been the principal executive since the company’s inception in 1998. He is responsible for tower business development including municipal and public agency projects. Mr. Arthur has an extensive background in wireless implementation, engineering and construction.Mr. Arthur was formerly the Program Manager for NextWave Wireless’s NY-Metro Region. He was responsible for management, engineering, and implementation of PCS networks for the New York market as well as national implementation and construction standards for NextWave.Prior to joining NextWave, Mr. Arthur held several positions with Loral’s Weather Systems division in Great Neck, New York, and was involved with numerous military and commercial projects in the fields of electronics packaging, radar, and antenna system design.Mr. Arthur received a Master of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering from Manhattan College and is a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in the State of New York, a member of the Association of Public-safety Communications Officials – International (APCO) and a member of the New York Landmarks Conservancy Professional Circle. Mr. Arthur is credited with several U.S. and international patents in antenna and component design. Currently, Mr. Arthur is serving on the WIA’s President’s Advisory Board.
