Detailed Inspector General for the Secretary of the Army during the inspections of supply, personnel readiness, housing, and sponsorship. Conducted over 1780+ interviews, 1080+ sensing sessions and 4690+ contacts in 110+ locations which resulted in systemic fixes to force systems and programs across the Army. Developed a database through Microsoft SharePoint which resulted in a quick analysis of the inspections to inform senior leaders on trends and systems.

Responsible for all road movement operations during entrance, sustainment and exiting phases of the area of operations, resulted in coordination and execution of 1000+ vehicles during five major exercises in Norway, Bulgaria and Poland. Developed and partnered with 29 NATO countries on five plans and 35+ routes on joint-related transportation events of 12,000+ personnel, 1000+ vehicles and 4500+ tons of materiel during these exercises.

Provided advice and assistance to 70+ personnel relating to force structure, organization, manning, training, and skill levels which resulted no loss of continuation of logistic operations. Represented the Assistant Chief of Staff G4 with partnering sister services and African nations with full authority resulting in synchronized logistic operations on the African continent.

Planned and executed 260+ tons of Sustainment support to the Horn of Africa and nine other countries on the African continent. Hand selected as Logistics Advisor and Logistics Director in support of the African Union and United Nation’s mission in Mali which resulted in sustained and integrated UN units, cooperation with the Department of State Agency and US Malian embassy. Planned and executed four air and surface movements for deployed French forces. Conducted site survey assessment of a US facility in Sierra Leone, supporting the Department of State Economic Community of West African States, 200+ pieces of rolling stock resulting in UN troops utilizing the equipment during the UN mission in Mali.

Established a new agency within the organization, partnering with African and European countries in resulting the management of 10+ transactions of goods, services and contributions, valued at over seven million dollars. Hand selected as Lead Logistics planner and operations in support of a joint task force which resulted in flawless planning, coordination and execution partnering sister military agencies, Department of State Agency and US Libyan embassy.

Developed the planning efforts leading to the drawdown of US Forces in Iraq which resulted in the flawless redeployment of 110,000+ combat troops and contractors and the retrograde of over one million pieces of equipment, meeting the Presidential Directive of 50,000 military personnel by 1 September 2010. Led a joint planning team and developed a contingency plan for the issue of stored equipment in Iraq, valued at $70+ million dollars. Contributed over 15 on-going logistic planning efforts and 80 efforts briefed to the Commanding General. Planned a strategic show of force that dynamically repositioned equipment in the Iraqi Joint Operational Area of Operations to provide a strategic message to all actors involved.

Supervised sustainment including 6,000+ miles in distribution missions, all commodities and services resulting in 22 combat training rotations for brigade size (4500+ personnel) units that are deploying into Iraq and Afghanistan. Managed $3.6 million budget that had 13 subordinate activities, ensuring that spending did not exceed budget targets for the year. Fielded the first Global Combat Support System–Army (GCSS-A) which resulted short-notice, frequent engagements of senior leaders and PM specialists visits to assess the future logistic system. Managed the Squadron’s maintenance rate at 95%.

Graduated from an intermediate level education for operational level officers on Army Operations, Force Management, Leadership and Sustainment Operations. Completed a joint planning course and earned an additional skill identifier. Earned a Masters of Business Administration degree from Webster University that same year.

Planned, transformed, and managed the former organization’s structure and functions to a new logistic division of 181 authorized personnel which resulted in seamless integration of new functions, new personnel, expansion of office space, computers, and connectivity requirements and no lapse in readiness during transformation.

Created an applicable policy, establishing control measures (spending) and imposing discipline on the spending mentality in Iraq resulted in spending reduction averages of $18+ million per month without impact on a unit’s ability to acquire mission essential services, equipment or supplies. Reduced delinquent unit property book hand receipts resulting in a 98% compliance rate within the Command Supply Discipline Program. Gained 97% visibility of all commercial purchases through a vendor program and 100% accountability of all non-expendable items ordered through the Property Book Office.

Deployed to Iraq, managed 870+ short-tons of ammunition basic loads valued at $111+ million and established an ammunition supply point which resulted in improved ammunition support and successful combat operations during Operation Iraqi Freedom. Responsible for three ammunition packages valued at $104 million which resulted in one brigade to rapidly deploy into Baghdad International Airport with new ammunition. Project officer for a new $13 million Ammunition Holding Area which resulted in the Division’s ability to out load ammunition during a no-notice rapid deployment.

Led the largest company (250+ personnel) in the battalion and responsible for $30 million worth of equipment, Maintained the brigade’s operational rate above 90% which resulted in the brigade to be trained at a high state of warfighting readiness. Transitioned to the Force XXI design, managed the turn-in, fielded and testing of 90 tanks and 59 infantry fighting vehicles with a robust package of repair parts. Created a logistics systems realignment plan that resulted in timely and uninterrupted transfer of maintenance and supply information during transformation.
