CurrentMr. Atchison is a nuclear engineer with 20 years of experience as a consultant to the nuclear utility industry and government organizations. Responsible for managing and performing nuclear power plant thermal hydraulic transient analyses, loss-of-coolant accident analyses, piping system steady state pressure, mass and energy balance calculations, reactor severe accident analyses, containment analyses, and safety analysis training workshops using state-of-the-art computer codes in support of client's nuclear plant licensing analyses, operational plant support, and licensing safety analysis reports.In addition, Mr. Atchison has eight years experience as a consulting engineer to the DOE National Laboratory contractors at Hanford and Idaho National Laboratories, supporting nuclear facility documented safety basis development (DSAs, TSDs, SARs, TSRs), decommissioning and demolition safety basis development (SARs, TSRs, BIOs and HASPs), on site transfers of radioactive material, hazard and accident analyses, nuclear facility safety screens and USQs
