Over the last 70 years, Compassion revolutionized the fight against global poverty by partnering with local churches to meet the unique and urgent needs of children living in poverty. Today, Compassion partners with over 8,000 local churches in 29 countries to deliver our proven holistic child development program to more than 2 million infants, children and youth. Around the world, children and families and entire communities are being empowered to overcome poverty and thrive both now and into the future. In this role, I am accountable for partnership engagements across Canada to advance Compassion Canada's revenue and sponsorship objectives. I develop, deepen, and diversify strategic partnerships and coordinate ongoing donor pipeline research and recruitment for largescale outcomes serving children, family, and communities around the world.I am responsible for overseeing a national team of Relationship Managers (Middle Gifts and Legacy Gifts Officers) and Business Partnership portfolios, ensuring each one is informed, equipped, and empowered to fulfil their role within the broader partner relations strategy, and the overarching mission of releasing children from poverty in Jesus' name.

Develop and maintain relationship with a portfolio of Church and Business relationships for the purpose of forming collaborative partnerships benefitting each partners’ missional goals and seeking to achieve the activity and acquisitional goals of the team and organization. Specifically tasked with executing Church and Business engagement strategy within the overarching mission of releasing children from poverty in Jesus’ name.

Build relationships with the Service Programming Division (SPD) Leaders from other churches in the Network from Australia, New Zealand and Hong Kong. The point of contact for any questions related to SPD for members of the Network. Organize, lead and conduct monthly Zoom calls with SPD Leaders. Assist in the Programming for the yearly Ministry Area Gathering.

Recruit, hire, train and develop Service Programming Division (SPD) Teams in two campuses for: Band, Production, Producing, Media, Platform Communicators and Guest Services. Lead and inspire people around the vision and mission of The Rocks. Create culturally relevant Sunday gatherings that immediately engage people to want to come back. Lead the planning team that creates and plans Sunday gatherings. Ensure the wise stewardship of all resources by designing, maintaining and overseeing the SPD Budget.

Create a system at The Rocks for onboarding for all next steps using Elvanto Church Customer Relationship Management Software. Lead and create a team in charge of the follow up and first contact for all sign-ups. Create and implement the General Orientation process and presentation for new Volunteers. In charge of leading and organizing NEXT Welcome Dinners (designed for new guests to learn more about The Rocks).

Build and oversee a system for team members to make digital and print items that promote and protect The Rocks brand. Teams include: Digital Graphics, Print Graphics, Social Media, Video, Photography, Website Design and Script Writing. Lead and inspire teams around the vision and mission of The Rocks. Curate a collection of visual media to be displayed in a style guide. Assist in the curation and execution of media throughout all ministry departments at The Rocks. Take the lead role in presenting authentic, creative and impactful messages through media in fulfilment of the goals of each department season, series, or event.

Identify, train, and empower leaders to be a part of the Young Adults (YA) Ministry. Serve as the primary YA leader and communicator for the church. Invest in the lives of young adults at The Rocks through intentional relationship building initiatives. Oversee YA Services, including Band, Production, Guest Services and Communicators. Lead, as the primary organizer of Small Groups for YA. Primary organizer for yearly YA Camp. Meet with key volunteers on a regular basis to spiritually mentor and care for them. Preach at the YA Gathering. Make pastoral care visits when needed.

Assist in the development, preparation and continuous improvement of organizational systems and manuals. Collaborate with CEO to develop and refine marketing strategy to increase reach, customer retention and potential members’ understanding of the packaging benefits that Local Chambers offers. Organize networking functions including 3 luncheons with current Ministers of the Legislative Assembly at the Parliament of Western Australia. Manage prospect lists, sponsors list and ticket allocation. Coordinate board and committee scheduling, lists and information.

Communicate, interact and cater to guests needs and requests. Work under pressure and multitask in a fast paced and complex environment. Provide superior customer service, which facilitates the formation and maintenance of consumer relationships. Go above and beyond service expectations in a team oriented manner.

Consultant for The Lucky Iron Fish Project, a social entrepreneurship organization implementing a simple health innovation to alleviate iron deficiency in Cambodia. Conduced primary research to assess North American potential target markets, consumer preferences and optimal price points for the product. Market research was performed through an online survey, focus groups and interviews. Used SPSS Statistics software to analyze raw data in order to visually demonstrate findings through tables, charts and graphs. In July 2014, went to Phnom Penh, Cambodia to continue market research to assess the Western bias of selling the Fish in comparison to local Khmer employees. Performed door-to-door sales of the Fish with a translator in local villages in order to better understand buying power, gender roles, willingness to buy, education levels and Western bias possibilities of local Khmer people. Organized and run three Road shows in local Cambodian villages. Enabled The Lucky Iron Fish Project to further understand how to market, sell and reach the most people with their product.

Research, summarize, write and post information on government funding opportunities for clients on the online bulletin in both English and French. Work with clients to gather and present information necessary for applying and maintaining government incentives. Liaise with company associates at all levels. Monitor, respond to and distribute incoming communications. Prepare and edit correspondence, presentations and other documents. Redesign company website using WordPress with the purpose of acquiring higher ranking search results and more website traffic.
