Employed on a casual basis in the Electoral Services team working on various aspects of electoral registration and the voting process for all elections and referendums. Maintenance of the electoral registration database including all paper records whilst maintaining data protection laws and retention and disposal procedures. Updating candidate and agent information and monitoring expense returns.

Also to instigate audit work to ensure that processes are correctly followed and actions undertaken to put in place corrective measures where applicable. To provide project management leadership in the delivery of the conversion of schools to Academy status. Liaising with senior officers, HR, finance, legal, property services, capital works teams, schools including headteachers and specifically the Department for Education to deliver a programme of change within strict deadlines. Writing Cabinet reports, maintaining accurate records and ensuring key tasks are actioned. Key achievements: producing an activity timeline document to ensure deadlines are met, ensuring lines of communication between the Council and the DfE are developed to improve delivery of the conversion programme along with updating key channels of information.
