1988-1997, update/maintain and publish electric distribution system maps using mechanical drawing procedures on Velum stock, 1:200 and 1:400 scale, assembling and printing map books for the electric field crews. Provide electric, fiber, water and sewer underground facility locations using Metrotech Underground Locating Equipment. 1997-Present, initiate, research, develop and implement a GIS system for the GRPUC Electric Utility Department, selected ESRI GIS software, started with ArcView 3 and progressed to the current ArcGIS 10.3 Enterprise License. Capture and maintain all Electric Distribution System infrastructure using Trimble GPS equipment, differentially correct for sub-foot accuracy, transfer collected data to the GIS and build Connected Electric Utility Network. Publish and Share Maps and Data via the internet/intranet for all use scenarios. Administer and do all things necessary for the maintaining and dissemination of the Enterprise GIS. Research, write legal descriptions and negotiate acquisition of easements for utility installation purposes. Coordinate work processes with Contractors, City, County, Private Parties and other associated entities. Maintain Facility Maps of infrastructure with MPUC and Minnesota One Call System and coordinated all Underground Dig Locate Requests.

Worked installing and maintaining city water distribution and sewer collection systems infrastructure, including a fresh water treatment plant. Was acting forman 1985-88. Worked with Linemen on off hours Callouts troubleshooting and repairing electric distribution system failures.

Worked as Laborer, constructing Iron Pellet Plants and for Road and Bridge constructing/rebuilding major roadway bridges.

Completed Basic Electronics and Telephone Equipment Installation and Repair schools, obtained a Top Secret Security Clearance and worked, base wide, installing 1A-2 Telephone Key Systems. In 1974 I was recognized and awarded for having installed the most advanced communication system in a Top Secret Underground Command Post (located on a US owned military base) in all of Europe. Was also awarded 2nd place for "Airman of the Quarter" out of all the enlisted Air Force personnel stationed in Europe, recognized for excellence in accomplishments both on-base doing my job and off-base interacting with the citizens of the surrounding communities.
