John is a career entrepreneur and has been working in the Canadian medical cannabis industry since its infancy. Since 2014, John has successfully assisted numerous applicants to become Licensed Producers under the Access to Cannabis for Medical Purposes Regulations (TSX: HIP). From 2016-2018, John acted as a management consultant for Aphria Inc. (TSX: APHA) and Nuuvera Corp (NUU.V), and is formerly a Director of the Canadian Cannabis Association (CCA), and ARA – Avanti Rx Analytics. John is currently the Co-CEO/ Founder, and Chairman of Olli Brands Inc., a Licensed Processor of cannabis infused edibles products throughout Canada. John is the Managing Director at Kenkai, and currently sits on the Board of Directors for 4C Labs, a Licensed Operator in the UK, and Hoshi International (formerly CEO), a Licensed Producer in Portugal. Together with his partner's, John has raised significant private equity to operate his business endeavours. Prior to working in medical cannabis, John co-developed and sold a 50 MW solar project to Samsung and worked for the government of Ontario.
