John has 21 years in the legal industry. Currently at Dykema as a litigation paralegal. Previously he was employed at various law firms including Haight Brown, Lewis Brisbois, Manning & Kass, Hunt Ortmann, Myers Nave, Spertus Landes & Umhofer, LLP, Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP. Since 2002, John has worked at various other law firms including Kirkland & Ellis, Paul Hastings, Sidley Austin, Secured California Real Estate Investments plus various solo practitioners of law in the greater Los Angeles area. Previously, he worked in the aerospace industry for 22 years where he was employed at Hughes Aircraft, Raytheon, and Boeing working in the areas of project planning, engineering, administration and project management. John received his Bachelor’s degree from Cal State Dominguez Hills, Master’s degree from University of Phoenix, litigation and corporate paralegal certificates from University of West Los Angeles School of Paralegal Studies, plus a project management certificate from Villanova University. John was an active participant with community services at P.A.T.H. (People Assisting the Homeless) and is an active voting member of L.A.P.A. (Los Angeles Paralegal Association). Over the years has spoken about the paralegal profession at a number of L.A.P.A. events and Mt. Sac Junior College.
