John has had a substantial involvement as a Coach, Technical Direction / Management, Coach Education / Mentoring, Talent Identification, Elite Athlete Development in Australia. Experienced in developing a campaign to produce a sense of direction, philosophy in building football structures in a professional football clubs. His playing career started with a scholarship at the Australian Institute of Sport (AIS), he was a professional football for over 15years, playing over 300+ games in the Australian National Soccer League (NSL) for Blacktown City, Sydney Croatia, Apia Leichardt, Adelaide City, West Adelaide SC, Parramatta Power & Marconi Stallions. John also represented Australia internationally at Schoolboy Level, U20s (Young Socceroos) & U23s (Olyroos) culminating in representing Australia at the Barcelona Olympics in 1992. John has deeply associated in the development of football in Western Australia through various coaching roles within Football West & the Perth Glory FC & is an accredited AFC / FFA ‘A’ License Coach.
