● Oversees press and media operations for the Embassy, promoting an understanding of and support for U.S. policy. Designated Embassy spokesperson. Develops content for the Embassy's digital properties.● Serves as chief advisor to the U.S. Ambassador and senior diplomats on policy advocacy through government, media and public engagement in Ireland.● Creates accurate, persuasive, policy-specific information (e.g., press releases, media kits, fact sheets, background papers) that regularly becomes the official statement of U.S. policy in Ireland.● Actively cultivates key relationships with established and emerging professionals in the Irish government, political, media and NGO spheres to determine their interests, ideological orientation, and priorities to create targeted distribution of policy-relevant information.● Designs, implements and contentiously improves communications strategies to shape Irish public opinion and affect the behaviour of Irish policy makers. ● Plans and coordinates Irish and U.S. media coverage and press logistics for high-level visits (e.g. Presidential, Cabinet-level, Congressional).

I was a researcher on the current affairs flagship show "The Right Hook". My responsibilities included generating, developing and researching items and interviewees for the programme. In addition to breaking stories and editing items, I conducted vox pops and reported into the programme. During my tenure, I covered stories related to the financial crisis of 2008 and the subsequent political upheaval. I also travelled to Washington D.C. to cover the election of President Barack Obama.
