Over the past several years, I authored several professional journal articles and white papers, and presented on the emerging risks, regulatory hurdles and best practices associated with using UAS (drones) in the construction industry. Recent presentations to professional groups include: 2015 AGC National Meeting in San Juan PR, AGC Federal Contractor Conference, CFMA Silicon Valley Chapter, and the International Risk Management Institute (IRMI) Conference in Las Vegas, NV. In 2016 I also chaired a panel discussion of experts on the applications for unmanned vehicle systems at the AUVSI Conference in New Orleans, and presented at National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC) Chapters in Hawaii and Colorado, and to the AGC of Colorado Safety Committee. I was on a panel of experts at the "Construction Super Conference in Las Vegas in December 2016. I recently co-authored an article for the July 2017 edition of the ADSC Foundation Drilling Magazine (see below).
