ISI Inspection October 2012: PBS was graded as 'Excellent' in all areas!Based at our Vlastina Site, I over-look both primary school campuses at The Prague British School. The school looks at personalising learning for all its students as well as providing regular opportunities for staff and parents to increase their learning.Key initiatives introduced over the last 6 years in the primary school: Introduction of the International Primary Curriculum (IPC), Big Writing, Professional Development Review, regular learning presentations for parents and the restructuring of our quality assurance procedures.We have also increased the number of middle leader positions at school, giving increased responsibility to staff. This has enabled the school to increase it's activity in improving learning across all areas of the school.As a member of the School Board I work closely with my colleagues to fulfill the school vision of 'a school where people want to be'.Outside of the school - In my role as a member of the COBIS Executive Committee, I have organised five COBIS Conferences over the last six years in Prague as well as co-organise the annual conference in London in 2013 and 2014. I am Chair of the COBIS Student Event CommitteeI and founded the COBIS Games in 2012 which has now been hosted in Prague, Netherlands, Abu Dhabi and will soon be hosted in Athens. As an ISI Team Inspector I have taken part in inspections of British International Schools in Luxembourg, Abu Dhabi, Turkey, Spain, China and will go to Venezuela later this year.
