Single-use plastics campaign in 2021 resulted in 40% of the 180 million consumers reached saying they would reduce their use of plastic (~72 million consumers).+ Direct and manage marine protection program strengthening enforcement and community management of marine protected areas in Ecuador, Indonesia, Philippines, Tanzania and other countries. Developing new ocean program in China. Expanded the number of marine reserves with effective protection from 15 sites to 95 with plans to expand to 250 by 2025.

Helped increase total assets from $2.8 million in 2002 to $11 million, including:+ Initiated new programs (identified opportunities, designed programs, secured funding):• Rangeland Watershed Initiative (2011/12) secured $2.5 million in seed funds,• Climate Change Program (2010) resulted in $1.2 million in new revenues,• Bay Area Ecosystems Climate Change Consortium (2010) secured $1 million in seed funds,• Migratory Bird Conservation Partnership with The Nature Conservancy and Audubon California (2009) resulting in $700k annual incremental revenues with a multi-year commitment, and• Marine Conservation Program (2008) resulted in $1.5 million additional revenues.+ Led a strategic planning process and completed a 10-year plan (2008) that shifted the organizational focus from research and monitoring to addressing critical conservation priorities;+ Increased annual operating revenue to $10 million;• Directly raised ~$3 million per year from foundations and other grants,• Assisted in solicitations on another ~$3 million from individuals and agencies + Initiated and completed a $6.2 million capital campaign (2005-2007); Directly solicited $2 million, assisted solicitations on another $4 million.

Established and managed all aspects of this regional development organization with programs in women's health, community development, and environmental conservation in Thailand, Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia. Provided policy, managerial, and technical support to programs and projects. Advised the Government of Laos (Department of Forestry) on integrated conservation and development in the country’s largest protected area (Nakai-Nam Theun) under a World Bank-funded project. Assisted in formulating the Environmental and Social Management Plan for the proposed Nam Theun 2 hydropower project including the establishment of a watershed conservation and development authority and a $25 million trust fund from a portion of electricity revenues. Managed field activities with government staff to establish a protected area management unit and initiate participatory conservation and integrated development activities in the 36 villages within the 4,000 km2 protected area. Trained 16 government staff in participatory conservation, integrated development, and protected area management. Facilitated long-term management planning for the protected area with District, Provincial and National officials.

Managed day-to-day operations of a real estate development company (Palanamai Limited) and an affiliated construction company (Unique Building Concepts) for a US$20 million project in Thailand's Eastern Seaboard. Managed day-to-day operations of a start-up company, Electric Technology Holdings, in manufacturing plastic lithium-ion batteries for the portable electronics and electric vehicle markets. Evaluated other investments such as the acquisition of a wastewater treatment equipment company. Full responsibility for P&L performance. Coordinated international and local financing.
