Supervises and coordinates activities of guard force of assigned area as dictated by contractual obligations, to ensure the highest level of service by performing the following duties and responsibilities:Trains and mentors account security personnel to his/her site; to include the proper use of communication equipment, alarm systems, the specific steps to take in case of emergency situations, etc.Assigns personnel to posts or patrol, according to size and nature of establishment and protection requirements.Maintains daily communication with the Operations Manager and/or V.P. Knows, implements, and interprets account policies and procedures to security personnel.On call 24- hours a day in case of officer account and operations emergencies.Performs and/or directs inspection of officers, sites, alarm systems and the compliance of American Security policies and procedures. Manage work performance of all associates through: praise, recognition, documentation, progressive discipline, verbal warnings, written warnings, performance appraisals, coaching, retraining, suspensions and terminations.Manages and works within approved budget; this includes the effective financial management of training, overtime, and scheduling costs.Completes training at all field managed sites. Prevents, controls and eliminates all non-billable and excessive overtime. Coordinates initial on-site training. Other duties as required.
