Having previously bought and sold 25+ properties in the Florida Keys, in 2004, my wife and I decided to give it ago full time.We specialized in taking small apartment buildings and converting them to Boutique Condominiums in vacation destinations. Our goal was to convert one property a year while splitting our time between our favorite destinations. We seceded in this...and then some.

This was a "sister company" to Yellow Brick Road. This allowed us to utilize YBR's trucks and drivers to deliver rock, sand & soil, at the same time they delivered there roll off containers. Because of this unique situation we were able to share equipment and labor costs between the two companies. MRS also had heavy equipment, which did demolition work (utilizing YBR's containers), planted trees, dug pools etc. We serviced home owners as well as a large proportion of the booming construction industry of that time. This company was sold, separately from YBR, in 2004

We provided roll off containers to builders and home owners, from Key West to Marathon Key Fl. Ultimately we ended up with 150 containers, all painted bright yellow with our logo, phone number and slogans on all sides. We were able to charge a little more than our competitors by guaranteeing delivery or pick up within 90 min...something that had never been done in that industry. This business pushed my limits, taught me the value of surrounding myself with smart advisers and ultimately became my "MBA". In 2003 I sold this company to Waste Management, the largest waste removal company in the world.
