Lead the Compute Engineering area under the Digital Platform Engineering Group directly responsible for managing all the Virtualization and VDI, Computing devices, Mid Range / Mainframe and Storage / Backup Recovery for over 100+ TMNA, Manufacturing, Engineering and Sales facilities across North America.Engineer, implement and maintain a stable, reliable, efficient, and flexible compute environment that meets the performance needs of the business and supports innovation initiatives such as cloud and edge computing and well as high customer service in the end user compute space. Manage national vendors, maintenance contracts and consultant resources. The areas under this role are led by 4 managers in the following areas: Virtualization and VDI Team Computing Devices Team Mid-Range Compute and Mainframe Team Storage / Backup Recovery Team.Collaborate closely with all Platform Engineering teams such as Network, WAN, Lifecycle Management and New Buildings/Facilities Engineering teams to ensure high delivery and support across North America.
