With over 30 years of experience in law enforcement, security, and public safety, I have served as a senior executive and leader in various federal and local agencies, including the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey Police Department (PAPD), and the New York City Police Department (NYPD). As a Federal Security Director at John F. Kennedy International Airport, one of the most challenging and highest threat Category X airports in the world, I was responsible for the security of over 60 million passengers and 2,000 employees annually, as well as the coordination and collaboration with multiple stakeholders and partners.I am also an admitted attorney and a graduate of St. John's University School of Law, with a strong background in law, intelligence, and operations. I have held commanding officer positions in the NYPD's Patrol and Detective Bureaus, Operations Division, and Intelligence Division, where I contributed to the historic crime reduction and enhanced the counterterrorism capabilities of the department. I have also served as the Police Inspector and Commanding Officer of the PAPD at JFK Airport, where I oversaw the police operations and emergency management of the airport.
