1. Responsible For Facilitating Tenders:- - Preparation of commercial request for proposal documentation that allows vendors to understand the basis on which their offer should be submitted as well as the level of adherence required for the proposal to be accepted as valid for evaluation.- Facilitation of end user and vendor liaise meeting; these meetings are facilitated after review of the proposals submitted after the tender closing dates at both commercial and technical evaluation stages.- Facilitation of site visit meetings carried out on site before submission of priced bill of quantities and proposals.2. Logistics Coordination:-- Ensuring that all materials ordered from both overseas and local supplier are packaged and made ready for collection or shipping by the nominated freight forwarder with full understanding and strong emphasis on when risk of liability passes according to terms- Ensuring that all project equipment ordered clears in timely manner at all entry points within Zambia and outside the country.- Ensuring that all Project items are cleared without duty and minimal payment towards value added tax(VAT) due.3. Preparation Of Weekly Project Reports:-- Ensuring that all project personnel are fully informed and updated with regards to the status of the requisitions raised and orders placed during each work week.

1. Responsible for ensuring that all orders placed are received, acknowledged by the vendor awarded and delivered within the specified lead time.2. Management and updating of vendor penalty data base: - Ensuring that all warning letters issued to vendors are acknowledged and maintained on their files for a specified period3. Receiving of warning letter appeals for reviews and consideration as well as possible withdrawal4. Preparation and presentation of weekly expedite reports to the Vendor Relations Superintendent
