San Francisco

John commuted to Bali from Shanghai to help a local businessman build a Green-Themed Multi-media company, Alam Bali TV then moved to Bali in October 2009 and partnered with Jungle Run Productions building a western style Syndication Company to meet the demands of a changing Indonesian television market. He moved to San Francisco in October 2010 to take care of his 9 year old son and while there, has worked as an advisor to several companies and serves on the Boards of two SF based digital companies.

Shanghai

Hired by Xinhua Finance Limited in 2004 and asked to move to Shanghai to build an integrated multi- media platform company through acquisitions of China based media companies. Xinhua Finance hired J P Morgan in 2005 then brought the new entity (Xinhua Finance Media Group) public on NASDAQ in 2006.John was hired by Bwin (world's largest Gaming Company based in Vienna) to assist in the potential acquisition of France’s #1 sports channel and to advise in the entrance to China.

Based in Amsterdam as C.O.O. for 24/7 Media in Europe where he was responsible for all media operations in 20 offices throughout 13 countries. Returned to NY to be president of worlwide sales.

One of the original team hired by Ted Turner in 1978 to launch the world’s first commercial satellite network. He then worked with Ted on developing the Cable News Network (better known today as CNN). During his 16 years with Turner Broadcasting, he worked to mould the early development of cable television - eventually rising to President, Turner Broadcasting Sales - including growing revenues from $6 million in sales to $1 billion, with oversight for a global operation of 550 employees, including 32 vice presidents in nine offices worldwide.
