With over 25 total years of public accounting experience, I've managed all aspects of financial and internal control audit engagements in various industries, with a primary focus in the medical device, healthcare, financial services, manufacturing, higher education and other services sectors. I also have five years of experience with a savings and loan institution prior to entering public accounting.My experience includes working with publicly traded companies from IPOs to SOX 404 audit engagements. I have extensive experience in assisting clients with their SEC ‘33 Act filings, including initial and secondary offerings, and ongoing SEC ‘34 Act reporting requirements.My clients typically range from middle-market businesses to multi-national corporations, including many private equity and venture capital portfolio companies. My experience also includes internal control engagements, agreed-upon-procedures and compliance audits, including A-133 and HUD requirements and employee benefit plan audits. I routinely perform research on complex accounting issues to assist clients in determining appropriate accounting treatment, which have included revenue recognition matters, business combinations, stock based compensation, derivatives, securitizations, unique debt and equity structures, and lease and real estate matters.
