Currently employed as Associate Director of EHS & Security for a Pharmaceutical company with responsibility for the Strategic and Operational development and management of the EHS and Security Policy, systems and procedures. This also includes responsibility for the physical security aspects of the company’s activities including controlled drugs and overseas security, Emergency Response and Preparedness capabilities I am highly experienced in all aspects of Health, Safety and Environmental Management and Hazardous Materials Management including clinical and pharmaceutical waste. A highly experienced tutor able to design and deliver training and development from new employees up to Director level. I have extensive Security experience in both physical and information security, having managed these areas in both the NHS and private organisations.As a highly motivated and forward thinking individual, I am very capable of managing or working with a team on projects or if necessary working solo on situations that require personal initiative to achieve the required results. I find it easy to work under pressure and make effective objective based decisions, with a practical approach to problem solving in Health, Safety or Environmental issues, having a can do rather than a cannot do attitude.During my 25 years working in EHS and Security, I have gained a wide range of experience in many work sectors, from Manufacturing, Construction, Pharmaceuticals through to Health, Social Care, Emergency Services, Local Authorities and Arboriculture. I am also experienced in implementing ISO 18001,14001, EMAS and 9001 (Quality) systems. I have developed and taught on all levels of NEBOSH course from General Certificate (including Construction) and Environmental Certificate to the National General Diploma.
