My career has been based on a commitment to quality and accessible education as a key foundation of successful communities. I have over 25 years of senior leadership experience at Victoria University, RMIT University, Kangan Institute and William Angliss Institute in a range of roles, including; current role at Vic Uni of Director VU/Western Health Partnership, Deputy Vice Chancellor at RMIT for marketing/student recruitment, industry engagement, strategic partnerships (technology sector), alumni, communications (external and internal) and Vocational Education and General Manager roles in vocational education providers for marketing, student recruitment, business development, industry engagement, government relations and corporate strategy. Key areas of achievement during this period have been:• Business growth – consistently led the achievement of significant revenue and profit growth from target segments. • Industry and Government engagement – building strong, enduring relationships with industry partners and a variety of industry sectors, particularly tech sector, and federal, state and local governments. • Innovation – led innovation in education program development in co-creation with industry partners and delivery, particularly online. • Global orientation – successfully managed large, in-country projects with both government and educational partners in the major education markets of China, India and the Middle East and international student recruitment networks in over 100 countries. • People – successfully created and developed high performing leadership teams/portfolios and designed and implemented staff transformation programs to improve organisational competitiveness and the staff experience.
