25 years of railroad experience, with 17 of those years in operations and training. My current position as Director PTC - Transportation Training & Certification oversees PTC development and Implementation from a system perspective. Responsible for all transportation training at CSX REDI Center, system wide transportation training such as locomotive engineer and conductor for recertifications, annual operating rules training and RCO training. Other roles and responsibilities include,* Development of PTC simulation* Responsible for training all T&E PTC training* Manage 135 system wide field locomotive simulators* Point of contact for all PTC field related issues between operating groups* PTC-SME on industry GCOR Committee* Develop PTC rules and procedures* Coordination of PTC Mobile Training Centers* Develop System and General bulletins pertaining to PTC operations* Serve on PTC Staff* PTC-SME for Safety & Operating Department* Conduct and coordinate PTC Revenue Service rides* Responsible for locomotive onboard systems, such as Trip Optimizer and Distributed Power* Certified Class 1 engineer
