I am Head of Weil's Employment Litigation Practice Group. I am an experienced trial lawyer and corporate counselor who advises companies and their management and directors on all aspects of employment law in litigation, investigations, enforcement actions, and transactions. I focus on sensitive and high-stakes issues, often in crisis or other emergent situations: executive onboarding, departures, or misconduct; mass exoduses and raids; planned hiring of key employees from competitors; claims of discrimination, harassment, or retaliation; and incentive programs, acquisitions, investments, and agreements between business partners, vendors, and customers. My industry experience is equally broad, spanning financial services, private equity, hedge funds, alternative asset management funds, pharmaceuticals, medical devices, retail, and technology, among others.I have particularly expansive experience in restrictive covenant matters, and have handled them in all 50 states and internationally.I have received longstanding recognition from Chambers USA, Legal 500, Benchmark Litigation, Best Lawyers, Super Lawyers, and other industry publications. In 2016, I received the Lexology Client Choice Award in the Employment & Benefits category, an accolade that recognizes law firms and partners around the world who stand apart for the excellent client care they provide and the quality of their service. I am also a Fellow of the College of Labor & Employment Lawyers.I regularly speak and write on employment law topics, and I have been quoted by The National Law Journal, among other publications, regarding employment law and restrictive covenants. In 2013, I received a Burton Award for Distinguished Legal Writing for my article, "Can An Employee Steal Social Media Influence?" which appeared in Corporate Counsel in March 2012.Earlier in my career, I served as Labor & Employment Law Department Operating Partner and Co-Head of the Non-Competes and Trade Secrets Group at Proskauer Rose LLP.
