Now based in Christchurch, I'm a qualified urban planner (BRTP) and project manager, with experience in the leadership of multidisciplinary teams and programmes to secure results and further develop my staff. I hold qualifications in business management and have wide-ranging experience in governance, corporate affairs and lobbying, leading community and stakeholder engagement for controversial policies, transport projects and sensitive city-shaping initiatives. Focused on influencing partnership-based catalytic transport infrastructure projects, strategy and policy development and establishing implementation programmes, and leading the client side of project development, design, and delivery of major municipal capital works projects. I have extensive experience in the resolution of complex and often politically-sensitive issues and providing strong leadership to projects including in establishing appropriate governance structures, completing negotiations, internal team management timeframes, budget and benefit realisation.
