With over 20 years of work experience in healthcare and social services, I am a passionate and effective leader who strives to improve the lives and well-being of diverse communities. As the Plan President of Molina Healthcare of Indiana, I oversaw the implementation of local operations and strategy of the health plan, ensuring compliance with state requirements. I also serve as a Council Member for District 7 of the City of Indianapolis, where I represent and advocate for the interests and needs of my constituents, and collaborate with other elected officials and stakeholders on various policy issues and initiatives. In my previous role as the President and CEO of the Indiana Association of Rehabilitation Facilities, I led the statewide trade association of over 80 organizations that provide services and support to people with disabilities, and advanced their mission of enhancing their quality of life and opportunities. Some of the skills that I have developed and utilized throughout my career include relationship building, leadership, regulations, strategic planning, advocacy, and communication. I have a Master's Degree in Social Work from the University of Michigan, and a domain expertise in healthcare and social services. I am motivated by the vision of creating a more equitable and inclusive society, where everyone can access the resources and services they need to be successful.
