In my role as the manager responsible for the planning component of the Inpex contract, I lead a dedicated and diverse team based in Perth. Our primary focus is on providing comprehensive planning support for offshore gas facilities, including the CPF Explorer and FPSO Venture, as well as the Darwin ILNG processing plant. Our team not only plans but actively supports the execution of various scopes, including coordinating and overseeing offshore and onshore shutdowns, managing Offshore Fabric maintenance, and collaborating with Onshore campaign and planning teams. Together, we ensure the seamless and efficient planning and execution of all aspects of the Inpex contract.

Inpex Offshore - FPSO & CPF Facilities

Engaged by Monadelphous to implement processes and introduce new systems for the recently awarded Newcrest Gold contract for the Projects & Engineering Department on Lihir Island Papua New Guinea. Main Duties Include:Communicate formally and informally to stakeholders at all levels, including senior management.Conduct comprehensive cost/benefit analysisResponsible for the overall success and efficiency of the implementation process.Implement project readiness & completion tracking tools to ensure targets are met throughout the life cycle of a projectEstablish and maintain a high level of client satisfaction.Manage team's performance to ensure timeliness, accuracy, compliance, and quality.Analyze client needs and make recommendations in terms of services, processes and product optimization.Review of agreement records to ensure contractual commitments are met during the implementation life cycle.Provide appropriate advice, ongoing feedback, support and resources to improve effectiveness of individuals and departments.

Responsible for the overall Shut Down execution per the agreed client parameters and responsible for execution of the shutdown output based projects.18 month planning & pre-fabrication phase (12 months prior to my tenure) with a 10-day execution window across two major sites including multiple remote wellhead upgrades and flow line jump over line tie ins. 350+ individual SMP and E&I scopes utilising a 400+ multinational blue-collar workforce.Ensuring the safe execution of simultaneous shutdowns across CPF, APF, Moran and multiple well head manifolds to assure successful delivery. With focus on goal zero in HSE; zero LTIs and no harm to the environment and plant.Ensure all projects complies with company, industry and global standards and are executed within contract requirements, cost and schedule.Lead, manage and coordinate the Shutdown Team/DepartmentDevelop and implement fit-for-purpose Shutdown and Project Management policies, procedures, and processes.Liaise with Training Manager, HSE Manager and HR Manager to ensure the manpower supplied are competent, trained, certified and up to date with latest industry knowledge and technology.Implement overall Shutdown HSSE and Quality Management Plans.Implement an effective integrated Shutdown Master ScheduleDevelop the overall contracting strategy for the Shutdown. This includes: planned, emergent works and opportunity scopesDevelop the overall equipment, tooling and consumables including PPE requirement.Work with the client to freeze Shutdown work scope. Liaise and coordinate with Client’s Operations and Maintenance departments for detailed planning inputs for the integrated Master SD Plan.Development of communication, manpower, shutdown, decontamination and start-up plans and procedures for each Shutdown event.Review lessons learned process for continuous improvement.Work closely with Client’s Operations and Discipline Leads to insure effective staffing for operations.

• Drive visible leadership within the team and subcontractors focusing on the Inpex Safety, Health and Environmental Policy’s • Utilise the SAP data base systems to develop work orders, track material availability and process sub-contractor CTR’s.• Present readiness reviews with the offshore OIM and production teams, to ensure the projects or shutdown activities are sufficiently prepared and matured to go for site execution.• Arrange the supervision team, subcontractors, materials, equipment, and tools as required for the onshore / offshore preparation works and shutdown activities.• Identify resource requirements and participate in the recruitment of key personnel, contractor mobilisations and offshore roster management in line with typical offshore bedding restrictions.• Track engineering and procurement deliveries, related to shutdown execution activities, in close relation with the relevant discipline engineers• Assist development of P6 execution schedules for accuracy and report productivity to all key stakeholders• Identify tools & equipment as required to coordinate the offshore shutdown activities, from preparation stage up to completion offshore• Travel offshore to coordinate all SMP supervision, blue collar workforce and sub-contractors throughout the entirety of the shutdowns• Deliver the close out dossier at the end of the shutdown, as well as develop lessons learned to help streamline future shutdowns• Prepare and facilitate relevant progress reports and distribute to key stakeholders

Confirm and communicate project deliverables, develop a scope management plan & manage applications of scope controls.Lead multidiscipline project team to deliver projects and in line with budget and schedule estimates.Manage the interface between the Onshore/offshore project teams, discipline engineers, and Wheatstone offshore leadership team to maintain compliance with relevant specifications, guidelines, and contract obligations.Liaise with the platform OIM and superintendents and provide presentations of upcoming projects to ensure scopes and impact to the facility are fully understood during the planning phases.Advise in constructability reviews and provide estimates for project scopes on the Wheatstone platformPrimary onshore focal point to support the offshore project teams, onshore Coordinators, logistics, scheduling, commissioning & work pack development teamsPromote and review safety compliance of all Chevron project personal including contractors to ensure the safety procedures and core values are understood and followed.Facilitate weekly interface meetings with sub-contractors and vendors to ensure o time delivery in line with schedule commitmentsLiaise with 3rd party vendors to ensure scopes are estimated, resourced and work packs correctly reflect the materials & equipment requiredWork with Materials Coordinator to ensure material delivery dates are met and provide support for expediting as required Review, approve and plan all growth or break-in scopes for operations.Review 7-day/28-day/90-day schedules for accuracy and report productivity to all key stakeholdersAnswer any TQs raised or liaise with the relevant discipline engineer for resolutionIdentify resource requirements and participate in the recruitment of key personnel, contractor mobilisations and offshore roster management in line with typical offshore bedding restrictions.Review and approve JDE work orders.Act as Chevron Topside Project Managers delegate while unavailable
