I have been given the added responsibility of managing the car parks, apart from my previous responsibilities.

My duties relate directly to all the Concession Outlets (Food and Beverage and Retail) within the airport, both landside and airside. Presently the Malta International Airport has a total of 33 retail outlets and 14 food and beverage outlets of whom I am responsible from the Malta International Airport’s side.My responsibilities include: contract negotiations, quality and pricing control, budgeting and sales forecasts, issuing and receiving tenders, project management, dealing with customer complaints, overall outlet business development, liaising with all the outlets’ directors, managers and staff on everyday matters, marketing and more. I also form part of a marketing committee – Malta Airport Shopping, which works on doing market research, creates campaigns and events for the shops at the airport to attract locals and entice passengers to purchase. Furthermore, I form part of an Emergency and Evacuation committee at the Airport.
