In 2009 John Bartrom and Dave Cummings founded Jericho Home Improvements in Kansas City. We had a vision of what we wanted Jericho to be and how we would scale our company. We wanted to instill a strong culture of creating "Raving Fans"​ of our customers, taking care of our employees and doing the right thing. We also have a passion for giving. We support two great organizations that help transform the lives of orphans (The Global Orphan Project) and provide clean water to the poorest of the poor (Living Water International). We believe its not about changing lives, it's about saving lives. All these components combined is what drives our success: Providing a premium service to fit any budget, caring about our customers, hiring great people, and having a heart for giving. Just over 6 years ago we started Jericho in a basement with just a handful of great people. Since then we have scaled our kitchen and bathroom remodeling division with 100%+ growth almost every year, acquired two granite fabrication companies in 2009 and 2011, and starting a cabinet refinishing division in 2015 that is taking market share quickly. With this passionate approach we have become the largest remodeling company in Kansas City and the largest independent kitchen and bath remodeler in the United States with close to 100 employees and over 800 kitchen and bathroom remodels a year.
