During my time at Technocover I have successfully managed the design and creation of multiple product ranges including access covers, doorsets, enclosures, cages, secure walling and many others, primarily focused around high security products specified for use within the nine sectors of the CPNI.A large percentage of these products have required external accreditation / certification / assessment by the following bodies: - LPCB - LPS1175 security testing & assessment for levels 2-5.- LPCB - LPS1056 fire rating to BS476: Part 22.- HOSDB/SEAP Government security testing.- PADS approval for Network Rail.A major requirement of my role was to develop successful business relationships with both clients and suppliers to help aid both parties in successful progression.In all roles I aim to successfully bridge the divide between end user requirement, and production reality of the finished product. I was required to control and project manage multi-million pound contracts for all the major network providers, such as Vodafone, Orange, Ministry of Defence and Network Rail. My role was from first receipt of tender to completion of build ensuring that not only the correct information is created/distributed to manufacturing division but also that it leaves the factory to the client’s exacting specification. My employment at Elliott’s begun at the head office in Peterborough, where I started as a CAD draughtsman and progressed upwards through mechanical specifying/estimating. In late 2002, I was offered the position to assist in the development of a technical department within the Newtown telecoms facility, where I became an asset in the fruition and success of the division Show less
