After graduating from Rochester Institute of Technology (BS New Media Publishing, Communications minor), I moved to southern California and began my childhood dream job. For 14 years I had the privilege of writing articles, shooting photos, managing a team, graphic design, content layout and proofing at Motocross Action magazine. MXA is a world-renowned publication that specializes in testing motorcycles and products.In January 2017 I made the career leap to Joe Gibbs Racing in the motocross division as the Retail Brand Manager. That transformed into the Communications Manager role for the race team, along with handling retail brand positioning. Duties included photography, crafting media content, video production, website layout and updating, strengthening sponsor relationships, engaging with fans and working closely with team riders.Starting in 2018, I had the fortune of working with the Joe Gibbs Racing NASCAR retail department, launching a new point of sale system and developing the online retail site (www.shopjgr.com). That grew into handling e-commerce sales through product photography, descriptions, web design, creating promotions, lead generation, and social media plays. Sales growth increase of 634%.In September 2019 I accepted the position of Director of Social/Digital Media at Joe Gibbs Racing. I have the pleasure of managing/working side-by-side with some of the most creative minds in the business. Together we have exceeded parter requests, worked closely with the top drivers in the sport, created genuine content, and continue to bring entertainment to a passionate and loyal fan base.
