I didn't think much of it then, but besides the connection of purchasing and management in my most recent positions, I believe another thread is an ability to be resourceful. I keep an open mind, and use my experience and knowledge, always aware the bottom line is delivering results. For example:- Achieved $400,000 in savings for the UAW-GM Center for Human Resources (CHR).- Updated the approval and purchase order system for vendor transparency and improved workflow at the CHR.- Successfully negotiated and managed all service and capital expenditures at L.A. Fine Arts & Wine Storage (LAFAWS).- Operated within budget for all 14 years at LAFAWS, and increased tenant occupancy by 32%.Professionalism, organization, respect and communication are obviously foundational qualities for any position.
