• Provide timely & accurate advice to management.• Provide assistance to staff and contractors in achieving safe completion of work programs.• Help to ensure that all base personnel are adequately inducted and trained.• Review and report all incident and accident reports in accordance with Company and statutory requirements and implement & monitor remedial actions.• Provide timely safety statistics and updates for monthly reporting.• Attend site Safety Committee meetings and site Toolbox meetings.• Help to develop a pro-active work safety culture at the base.• Coordinate Risk Assessment on Capital & Standard Work Procedures (SOP’s)• Carry out inspections as set out in Karara SEC - ESO duty schedule. Report finds through reporting channels. • Attend callouts and provide assistance to preserve life and company property.• Prevent injury.• Conduct post incident debriefing. Report findings via reporting channels. • Perform training exercises using rescue equipment to up keep skills and familiarisation of its use.• Conduct ERT Training as per training schedule.• Conduct work in conjunction with Security and Medical teams.Gap fill in Security and Medical field when required.
