Assisted with day to day operations around the athletics department. With the assistance of the other intern, we renovated the athletics website. The renovations included the ability to click on a players name, so you could see their picture, hometown, previous school, height/weight, as well as their statistics. I also did a lot work with game operations. I was in charge of men's and women's soccer games and did a few basketball games and Junior Varsity football games as well.

I was a sub lifeguard for my first year at PDCC, a position that, if one of the full-time guards needed somebody to cover their shift, they would call. I was reliable enough as a sub lifeguard that I was offered a full-time position. I worked there until I moved to Lawrence to attend KU.
