Manage multiple client projects involving the Migration Team's most challenging customers. These accounts have the most complex applications, with the highest dollar value, and feature multi-product integration. Implement multiple projects simultaneously with contract values averaging over a million dollars annually. Most projects include teams of 4-10 members, involve extensive cross functional participation, and range from 3 to 12 months in duration. Generally manage 4-8 projects at one time. Serve as client’s single point of contact throughout multiple product implementations. Duties include consulting and selling of add-on service contracts when appropriate to develop the client relationship.Make extensive use of PMI and Ceridian methodologies that involve all project life-cycle phases. Consistently lead cross functional internal project teams including: a PMO establishment team which formed a PMO at Ceridian, a team that has trained roughly 15 Project Managers to pass the PMI certification exam, and countless internal process improvement projects teams.Key Accomplishments:• Received multiple quarterly Ceridian Star awards and was recognized with the annual Presidents Club Award for outstanding job performance in 2004.• Consistently recognized for outstanding job performance by management and peers. Asked by senior management to be the Role Leader for group of approximately 60 Project Managers across the country. • Appointed team lead for a group of 5 PMs within department. • Created and documented the entire methodology to accommodate large cross product implementations.• Team consistently achieved the highest customer satisfaction scores at Ceridian.

Managed department of 4-5 employees plus several IT contractors. Management responsibilities included hiring, evaluations, budgeting, and other department management functions. Also responsible for all aspects of Project Management related to the HR/Payroll, financial, and executive information systems (EIS). Managed relationships with vendors, which included contract terms and purchase price negotiations. Main vendor was Lawson Software who supplied ERP system.Key Accomplishments:• Successfully implemented extensive Y2K changes.• Upgraded ERP systems including GL, AP, Procurement, and Payroll.• Implemented overhaul of the EIS system used by Sr. Management to monitor store and district performance.

Managed and implemented projects intended to give Roadway a competitive strategic advantage in the overseas shipping industry. Coordinated the administrative activity of 10 field offices nationwide and 26 agent offices worldwide. Duties included nationwide, overseas travel, and countless presentations to all levels of management both internal and external. Represented international requirements on massive project to rewrite of all administrative systems at Roadway Express. Began career as an internal auditor travelling nationally to insure compliance with financial, environmental, and other regulations.Key Accomplishments:• Designed and implemented an intranet, known as Agent Net, that is used by Roadway’s overseas agents to access and update Roadway’s critical shipment data and perform other functions.• Created, documented and implemented all administrative processes for Roadway’s overseas shipping operation. Successfully integrated those processes with the domestic shipping operation so that all data resided in one system. Roadway was the first to have accurate overseas shipping information on-line and available to customers via e-mail, web and phone.• Took the initiative to completely rewrite and automate the audit process resulting in significant cost savings and improved coverage. Company realized well over $100,000 in savings per year.
