Develop and manage capital projects primarily for the Pocatello facility. Work with other Corporate Engineering colleagues to support various initiatives.

Manage Engineering and Maintenance at Amy's new Pocatello facility.

Responsibilities included the following:Provide project management and engineering assistance to Western frozen facilities for HNA including Pocatello Idaho, Ontario Oregon, San Diego California and Florence South Carolina.Assist with project development and installation at various facilities.Work with both Engineering and Maintenance organizations at these locations to improve processes.Develop and manage major projects at these locations.Work with team members to design and develop new facility in Florence, SC. Worked with Florence, SC team to start up that facility and create efficiency improvements.

Senior Project and Engineering Manager for HNA Pocatello, ID facility.

After increasing productivity of high speed packaging line I was reassigned to Maintenance to reestablish maintenance practices. Utilizing learning from production assignment worked to improve line efficiencies on other lines.Assigned to initial start up support team to work with Heinz Dundaulk, Ireland facility. Then assigned as temporary Production Superintendent / Maintenance Manger while colleagues further improved operations at the Ireland facility.

Promoted to Production Supervisor to work to accelerate the line production rates and efficiencies. Responsible for 2 shifts of production through the direction of 3 team leaders and 50 line workers to support to accomplish production goals. Developed rotation schedules to support 7 day per week production demands. Improved productivity by 25% on both shifts through employing continuous improvement.

As Maintenance Supervisor I had responsibilities for the direction of 20 - 30 Maintenance mechanics. Coordinated work assignments and PM's. Developed and implemented maintenance employment testing protocol's. Involved with the installation and start up of 7 high speed assembly and packaging lines along with sauce cooking and delivery systems.

Began in October, 1980. Worked initially as a line mechanic, promoted to Maintenance team leader in 1984. Finished carrier at Kraft Pocatello as a line Technician with responsibility for all shift personnel for the swing shift crew plus key leader and scheduler for the 4 Line technicians assigned to that area.Had significant involvement with the start up of 5 new processed cheese packaging lines along with cheese processing equipment that supplied these lines.Jar cheese line, Cheese and Cracker line, 2 lb Velveta line, 5 lb institutional line and individual sliced cheese line.Received JL Kraft Merit Award for improving the reliability of the cheese and cracker line.
