I took on a career change secondment as a Free Trade Sales account Manager for the Stoke and Staffordshire Area to understand the Commercial side of the Business .I turned round an under performing Sales area to achieve final quarter targets of 105% from a starting position of 80%.Led the Regional team in the launch of Bulmer's cider, and looked after the Stoke City FC account .

Responsibility for Managing the Retail Fleet through a Team of Line Managers , Focusing on providing a high quality ,cost effective distribution service to 2000+ accounts .A leading member of the project team that designed and implemented an in house Management Development Programme for Line Managers .

Responsible for both the Distribution and Technical Services functions at our Business unit based in the Midlands .Full budgetary responsibility and I managed the implementation of the Enterprise Inns contract in the midlands increasing the customer base by 30 %.

Managed a team of 8 Line Managers and 122 operatives , successfully integrated the Courage Ltd Business into the Newcastle Breweries Operation . Developed a policy of Joint consultation and communication with the T.G.W .U to improve industrial relations .Improved cost efficiency and improved service levels year on year .

Achie.ed BS5750 accreditation . I turned the Operation round from a high cost ,low productivity Operation to become the depot with the lowest cost per tonne within the Network

New Role introduced to co-ordinate the cultural change from Supervisory Management to a structured Shift Management Operation controlling all Operational Functions . Major cultural change Management to improve cost effectiveness and service offering to the network.

Covered various supervisory roles in Goods Inwards , Transport, Despatch and Night shift in the Logistics Function .

First Management role from Graduating , initially worked in the distribution function planning ,stock control , despatch -focussing on improving on service levels and cost reductions .Moved onto quality control of the Company's finished goods .
