I'm a problem-solver working at the intersection of the mechanical, electronic and software fields and specialize in data acquisition and control systems for propulsion testing. A few of my career highlights are the development of a data acquisition and control system for an Air Turbo Rocket and closed-loop pressure control systems for solid propellant gas generators of ramjet engines.At ATRX, I'm working to lower the cost of space access by developing Space Planes that are enabled by high-speed air-breathing propulsion. The simple, aircraft-like operation of Space Planes will make space launch cheaper and easier than existing vertically launched, staged rockets.Two products that I’ve developed through Bergmans Mechatronics, LLC (BML) are LabSocket, a software tool for browser access to LabVIEW programs (http://labsocket.com/), and a Modular Data Acquisition and Control System (M-DACS) that provides a turn-key solution for rocket motor test stands and similar applications (https://huntsvilledata.com/). Most of my propulsion system testing software is developed using LabVIEW and VeriStand.
