Site Lead at the Mission Training Complex, Gowen Field, Boise, ID in the Mission Command Training Support Program. Our program provides staff training, digital systems training, exercise design, development, execution, and assessment support to Army National Guard Units across the country. From MTC Gowen I manage that contractual effort for the 10 western states and Guam.

• Provide doctrinal support to an ARNG Division and other units as required in ARFORGEN years TR-1 through Ready to provide training assistance and exercise support in the Warfighting Functions of Intelligence, Movement and Maneuver, Fires, Sustainment, Protection, and Mission Command. Assist units in planning and executing Battle Staff Exercises, Situational Training Exercises, Field Training Exercises, and digital Command Post Exercises, including WARFIGHTER and other high level exercises. Provide tactical expertise, exercise design, exercise control, and technical support to ARNG units enabling unit commanders to successfully conduct staff and other training both at home station and at local, regional, and national training sites within the Live-Virtual-Constructive and Gaming domains. Facilitate the provision of individual training in Digital Mission Command Systems to soldiers in supported units. Conduct MDMP seminars and facilitate actual MDMP events in advance of exercises and for real world contingencies. Advise Adjutants General, Division Commanders, and Brigade Commanders on organizational training priorities and make recommendations on how best to meet those needs utilizing published Army doctrine. Conduct seminars from Battalion through Division on Unit Training Management, and assist units in preparing unit training plans and orders. Provide frequent doctrinal updates to ensure units are using the latest approved Army doctrine, paying particular attention to doctrinal terms updates and changes.
