    • Led a team designing a passive magnetic levitation system utilizing high-strength neodymium permanent magnets traveling over an aluminium sub-track.• Designed and performed experiments investigating the interaction of permanent magnets and high-conductivity aluminium plates moving past one another. The aim of the experiments was to maximize lift and minimize drag caused by magnetic fields produced by eddy currents induced in a rotating aluminium plate by permanent magnets. Additionally analyzed was the manner in which these forces varied with speed, air-gap distance, magnet strength, magnet orientation and as part of a Halbach array.
