As Contract Marketing Manger I have been involved with the continued growth of our SWFcontract manual and motorized solar shade program as well as our Bali and Graber branded products with a focused effort in the marketing and sales of our finished products to the commercial trade, including our Bali horizontal blinds, Graber verticals, wood and faux wood blinds, cellular and pleated shades and our SWFcontract manual and motorized Solar and Blackout shades making Springs Window Fashions/SWFcontract the leading full line manufacturer of commercial window treatment products. Beside our commercial business, Springs Window Fashions is a leading manufacturer of window treatments in the window fashions industry.During this time I have worked with Dan Spaeth, Cindy Parker, Tim Birckbichler and currently with Tom Rodgers, Vice President of Commercial Sales. One of the things that has always helped me to continue to grow in my skills is absorbing experiences from the individuals that I have worked for. Thoughout my career at Carey-McFall and Springs Window Fashions I have had the opportunity to work with a variety of leaders with different philosophies and skills which has allowed me to have a well rounded view of our business and our industry, as well as allowing me to develop my own philosophies and skills that have served me for many years to the mutual benefit of our Company, Customers and End Use Clients.

In 1989 Springs Industries purchase Carey- McFall and merged the company with Graber Industries, creating one of the largest manufacturer's of residential and commercial window treatments under the brand names of Bali and Graber. During this time I worked primarily with Dan Speace and Dan Spaeth who both continued to mentor me which allowed me to continue enhancing my skill sets as I expand my responsibilities as Sales Coordinator, assisting in the sales of components to our fabricators and finished blinds to our network of subcontractors who supplied our products to the commercial trade. I was very involved with our Regional Field Sales Mangers and communicated regularly with our Customer base. I also continued to head up our involvement with McGraw Hill and their Sweets Product Catalog Program.

After spending approximately 3 years as Customer Service Manager I transitioned into my first Sales related position working with Dan Speace, Vice President of Sales, one of the brighter and determined minds in our industry, Together with his sales force we were instrumental in the setting up of Fabricators of our Bali brand of horizontal blinds throughout the United States, helping to make Bali a household name in window treatments. I also became actively involved in our distribution of Bali horizontal blinds to the commercial trade as well as heading up our efforts with Sweets / McGraw-Hill in promoting our products to the architectural community. I proactively worked with our Manufacturing and Material Groups to ensure that we shipped our products on time. I worked closely with our Sales Force, Customers and Architects to ensure client satisfaction and also participated in our Trade Show activities from setting up our booth to interacting with Architects, Designers, General Contractors and Subcontractors.

After Marathon Carey - McFall purchased Sunlight Thru Vu Enterprises, I moved from Mamaroneck, NY to Muncy, PA and after assisting with the transition of the business, what was to be a 3 month consulting position turned into what is currently a 32 year career with Carey McFall / Springs Window Fashions. My first position with Marathon Carey- McFall was as their Customer Service Manager, under the direction of Dan Spaeth, our Director of Marketing, who shared with me his business philosophies that have served me well over my entire career. During this time we were selling components to Bali branded Fabricators, finished blinds to the commercial trade, and we started selling products to JC Penney, all helping to make Bali a leading name in window fashions. As Customer Service Manager I constantly worked to ensure Customer satisfaction. I was involved in the design of computer screens used by our Customer Service Representitives and deveoped processes to expedite commercial orders in various stages of our process, from order entry to the order being shipped out the door.

As Thru Vu evolved from a pure manufacturer into a supplier of components to others for the manufacturing of Vertical Blinds, I was involved in setting up and supervising our warehouse and started purchasing goods from domestic and international suppliers. Also began to take an active role in the Customer Service aspect of the business by speaking with and processing orders from Customers. My time at Thru Vu/Sunlight Thru VU allowed me to experience all processes from component goods coming in the door to finish product going out the door allowing me to gain insight of the manufacturing process from start to finish, including my role in purchasing. My time in Customer Service gave me my first opportunity in the Sales end of the business as I interacted with all of our significant Customers. Key mentor at this time was Richard Pearlman, owner of Sunlight Thru Vu.

My initial Involved with window treatments with various manufacturing positions including packaging, vertical blind louver cutting, fabric slitting and operation of various power presses until promoted to oversee production of 20 person fabrication operation of vertical blinds. Key mentors at this time where Allan Woodle, owner of Thru Vu and Al Lipton, Engineer who pushed me to understand how things worked from an engineering standpoint,
