Currently I am a recruiter for Soliant Health, a medical employment agency located in Atlanta, Georgia. Though I am new to this field, I find my 10+ years’ experience as an operations manager with The GAP Inc and working as a full-time professional musician, singing on some of the worlds most prominent opera stages, has prepared me with a strong work ethic, multiple skill sets and a commitment to excellence. I know what you’re thinking, “How did a former opera singer end up as a recruiter for a medical employment agency?”. The story is a fascinating one for sure and perhaps someday I’ll write a memoir to explain it all. However, here’s what you need to know. I am a lifelong learner with a passion for making life a little bit better for those with whom I come in contact. Whether it’s sharing my love for music as I conduct church choirs or engaging with a travel nurse who is looking for that perfect job, the relationships are very similar. Passion, knowledge and empathy are the tools I use to foster strong relationships as I lead with confidence and consistency. And yes, I do still take requests to sing your favorite opera aria or pop song.
