John Billings is Head of Cultivation at The Farm Dispensary, an indoor craft cannabis company, operating in Boulder, CO, since 2009. He is one of the company’s founding members and has worked in the cultivation department since the company’s inception. Billings has won several cannabis cultivation awards, including second place in Colorado’s 2011 High Times Medical Cup sativa competition and first place for highest yield in Colorado’s 2018 Recreational Grow-Off competition. Billings is an integral contributor to The Farm’s genetics department, helping create and select craft cannabis varieties for production and seeds for sale. He has made cultivating craft cannabis his profession for almost a decade and continues to strive towards training and educating The Farm’s staff, the public, and city and state agencies to create a more sensible approach to cannabis production and consumption.
