I directed corporate actions at this clearing house, including redemptions, proxies, mandatory events, and voluntary announcements and processing.OPERATIONAL IMPROVEMENT: Following the onset of COVID-19, I drove cost control, process efficiency, and data centralization by initiating a transition from manual documentation to Excel, SharePoint, and shared drives. To do so, I generated staff buy-in by introducing training sessions and daily knowledge-sharing meetings. Additionally, I implemented work-from-home procedures, quarterly reviews, and a new-hire mentorship program. CLIENT RELATIONSHIP DEVELOPMENT: While interfacing with clients, I proactively addressed their inquiries and performed consistent follow up. At this investment bank and financial services company, I spearheaded securities lending and custody functions by performing staff and stakeholder interviews to coordinate day-to-day operations.My major achievement at this position was transitioning operations to 3 on- and offshore locations. These processes included static data, tri-party repos, and international settlements. To this end, I designed SOPs; documented process flows; and promoted staff hiring, training, and supervision.
